A rare and exquisite Bimini decanter with stopper and four glass set in a warm greige (grey-beige) and white color palette. Each glass features a nude figure as the stem, along with the decanter that features the nude figure inside the vessel.
Bimini Glass was founded in Austria in 1923 by Fritz Lampl and his brother-in-law Joseph Berger. They produced lampwork sculptures of figures, animals, vases, as well as sets of drinking glasses and decanters. In the late 1930's, Lampl was forced to flee Austria due to the rise of Nazism.
Due to the fragility of the feather-weight glass and the age (circa 1923-1936) this set is even more precious, a testament to the craftsmanship. Truly a set to cherish, an heirloom collection for use or display.
