A rare and exquisite decanter set attributed to Bimini Glass, Austria, complete with stopper and five glasses. The set presents a sophisticated palette of smoked champagne glass with charcoal accents and opaline white figural stems. Each glass is delicately crafted with a sculptural nude figure forming the stem, echoed by the decanter, where a graceful nude figure becomes the arm of the vessel.
Attributed to the celebrated Bimini workshop, founded in Austria in 1923 by Fritz Lampl and his brother-in-law, Joseph Berger, this set reflects the refined artistry and technical mastery for which Bimini is known. The studio gained recognition for its intricate lampwork creations, including figural sculptures, animals, vases, and distinctive drinkware. Production came to an abrupt end in the late 1930s when Lampl was forced to flee Austria amid the rise of Nazism.
